Zo Damage is a Melbourne-based photographer and printmaker. Widely acclaimed for her live music photography, Zo has exhibited Australia wide with solo and group exhibitions. Zo's work is held in Australian and international collections with signature pieces in the Australian Music Vault and The Amplifier at Arts Centre Melbourne. In 2017 Zo was presented with the Age Music Victoria Awards "Outstanding Achievement Award" (2017) for her unprecedented 365 Day (live music photography) Project and book "The Damage Report". Zo's film photography, cameraless photography and printmaking extend into fine art, abstract and profoundly emotive subject matters exploring ephemeral elements associated with music and the creative process. "My photography and printmaking are like song writing for me. The rhythm, energy and emotion are all there. It is physical. Music is physical. My dream is to make photographs that people can hear."
